For Therapists

EFT Supervision
Emotionally Focused Therapy is a model that can humble even more experienced clinicians. The model has a steep learning curve and it often takes years of dedicated training to get good at it. Working with an EFT Supervisor will allow you to get focused support as you grow in your understanding and application of the model. In EFT Supervision, you’ll have personalized support with case conceptualization and get experiential opportunities to role play and practice the skills you are working to strengthen. Therapists have the opportunity to work through self of the therapist issues that come up and then are refocused to how theses issues impact the client in your clinical work. Supervision is not therapy; we will always bring things back to your couple and the work you do with them.
If you are working towards certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy, EFT Supervision is a requirement of the process. I became an EFT Supervisor because I am passionate about helping other therapists dive deep into the model of EFT and I’d love to see more EFT Therapists get certified!
Unlike supervision for licensure, EFT Supervisors are not responsible for the license of supervisees.
